Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2021

The house to house collections for the Royal British Legion 2021 Poppy Appeal carried out in Badgers Mount recently amounted to £629.01

This is a fantastic sum for a small community and I would like to thank the residents for their generosity for a very good cause.
I would also like to thank Nichola and Sue for helping me achieve this, I believe this amount is a record.

Due to Covid restrictions in 2020 we were unable to carry out house to house collections for the Royal British Legion poppy appeal. This year as the restrictions have eased Gill, Nichola and Sue will be carrying out the collection in Badgers Mount in the coming weeks.

We will be starting at the end of October. We will of course respect your safety at all times.

In the past Badgers Mount residents have been very generous with their donations to this very worthwhile cause and I would ask you to continue especially as this is the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion.
