This is the memorial to the 11 residents who gave their lives in WWII. The wooden plaque is in the entrance lobby to the Badgers Mount Memorial Hall.
Using the 1936, 1947 OS maps and the RAF 1947 aerial photo it looks like there were approximately 100 houses in Badgers Mount at that time. So roughly 1 in 10 households lost someone in the war.
In 2025 Arthur Evans (current BMRA chairman)
updated the Imperial War Museum so they could add the memorial
details to their records for the War Memorials Register.
