Discussion on Minerals & Waste in Kent
Access your Minerals and Waste Discussion Pack here and hold a discussion with
family or friends - your views will help Kent County Council to produce a plan
for how minerals & waste will be dealt with in Kent - and you could win a
fantastic prize!
Kent County Council wants to know what people in Kent think about minerals and
waste issues. A discussion pack has been designed to get people talking, and to
gather feedback about your priorities, hopes and concerns. You don’t need to
have a special interest in minerals or waste to take part.
For a copy of the discussion pack or for more detailed information about the
development of the plan for minerals and waste please go to the following web
address:

Alternatively, to request a copy of the discussion pack by post please call

- May 2005 Newsletter -
Hello - Our AGM has been arranged for Thursday,
26th May 2005, details of which are given on the attached sheet. This year
the Neighbourhood Watch AGM will be held immediately after our meeting -
we hope to see you all at this combined event. Wine and nibbles will be
available during the evening.

At
present, the Association has 10 committee members, (which is our constitutional
minimum) but new members are always welcomed. If you would like to know more
please contact Gordon (534279) or Tracey (534471) or e-mail the website and we
will get back to you.
Our current Auditor, Mr Michael Cash has indicated that he wishes to retire at
the AGM after 26 years loyal service. We would like to thank him for his
assistance over the years. We now need to find a new Auditor to carry out the
annual check of our accounts and if you think you can assist please contact
Gordon or Tracey as above.

We are proposing to hold a summer social event for all residents in the Memorial
Hall. This will include a Barbeque, Disco, Raffle, Licensed Bar and possibly
other attractions from late afternoon onwards. The event will be suitable
for all the family and, with the exception of the Licensed Bar and raffle
everything else is FREE!!!
So that we can make planning and catering arrangements, a
tear off slip is attached to this Newsletter for you to complete. Slips should
be returned by the 12th May. A box will be available in the Memorial Hall Lobby
on Election Day, 5th May or alternatively, you can put them in the letterboxes
of the Hall (kitchen door), Sett Point (Highland Road) or in the box on the gate
of Cedar Dell (Badgers Road).
We will be holding a meeting on 12th May when arrangements
will be progressed. Further information will be available at the AGM, and a
short notice will be distributed to all residents nearer the event.
We look forward to seeing you there!
